Mother’s day is upon us

We are excited to begin our 60th year in the hospitality field and have planned many special events to celebrate. We have gone through a complete renovation we think you will be both pleased and surprised with our 60th year face lift.
Mother’s Day of course is always a special time at the VI, and we are having our Special Mother’s Day Brunch from 9am-12pm featuring all our regular brunch entrees with the addition of fresh carved ham with all the fixing STILL for only $14.95. Children under 10 half price.
Look for our Grand Prime Rib and Seafood Buffet on Father’s Day weekend, Saturday June 16th. We feature this buffet but once every two months and it sells out quickly. This time around we will be featuring our mouth watering prime rib and a plentiful and varied supply of fresh seafood (including crab, shrimp, scallops, clams…) a full salad and dessert table all for just $26.95. Call quickly for reservations and bring your appetite.
Finally, we will be bringing back our popular Wednesday Night BBQ Buffet starting May 30th. Ribs, chicken, and all the tastes of summer smoked on premises for only $11.95.
Remember, Sunday brunch every Sunday $11.95, Sunday Early Birds start at noon-4:00 for $11.95, Soup and Salad buffet every Wednesday and Thursday 11:30-2pm only $5.95.

Spring has Sprung

Spring has sprung! We are excited to begin our 60th year in the hospitality field and have planned many special events to celebrate. We are currently going through a complete renovation and expect to be ready to show off our new look on Easter, April 8th. We think you will be both pleased and surprised with our 60th year face lift. Easter of course is always a special time at the VI, and we are having our Special Mother’s Day Brunch from 9am-12pm featuring all our regular brunch entrees with the addition of fresh carved ham with all the fixing for only $14.95. Children under 10 half price.
We will be serving our regular full service holiday menu starting at 1:30pm featuring many of our Village Inn traditional favorites including our famous prime rib. Reservations for both are necessary to reserve a great table for an incredible meal.
Look for our Grand Prime Rib and Seafood Buffet on Saturday April 21st. We feature this buffet but once every two months and it sells out quickly. Valentines Day

Valentine’s day is quickly approaching, don’t let it come and go again without doing something special for that special someone. We will be open All day Tuesday February 14, 2012, and will have a variety of sweetheart specials for you and your valentines enjoyment.
Also if the weekend before is more fitting to your schedule consider our Prime Rib and Seafood Buffet, Saturday February 11, 2012 from 5 till 8. this has a little something for everyone. Enjoy shrimp, lobster, clams casino, Prime rib, baked chicken and so much more. Make your reservations early to ensure your seat as seating is limited.

Holiday Season

Well here it is …. The holiday season is upon us….wow that came so
fast,….anyone else think so?
We have been busy here preparing for your holidays. We start the season
off with our Thanksgiving Day buffet; this has been a great addition to our
traditional menu and the traditional turkey dinner. Our all you can eat buffet
includes, Prime rib and turkey carved fresh, stuffing, butternut squash, mashed
potatoes, homemade gravy, a full dessert table, including fresh baked pumpkin
pie, and our full salad bar. All this.. only $16.95.
We are also booking your holiday office parties; we can do them here or
bring that great taste you have come to love right to your door, check out our
new catering menu.
Remember as always gift certificates in any amount are available for
your holiday gift giving.
Don’t forget to make your reservations early for New Years Eve. Come and
enjoy the feast and ring in the New Year with your hunger fully satisfied.

September is now in full swing! Kids are back to school and college is well under way, and we are looking forward to a great season of beautiful fall days and looking forward to the holiday’s right around the corner.
We are looking to have our famous Grand Prime Rib and Seafood Buffet Saturday October 29th. This feature’s our famous Prime Rib, Chef carved, Clams casino, Oysters Rockefeller, Bacon wrapped scallops, seafood gumbo, and much more!

In addition, every Sunday in October we will be featuring our Harvest Platter. This platter offers a taste of the season with freshly roasted turkey and pork with gravy, my own recipe for butternut squash, stuffing, mashed potatoes and apple fritters. This comes with our house salad and is only available Sundays from noon until their gone for just $11.95.

Keep looking for our gift certificate specials that are coming up with the holidays.

This week (9/19-9/23), we will be featuring a crab burger plate. Real crabmeat, onions, cheddar cheese, garlic, and fresh herbs, grilled and served atop mixed greens, and garnished with red onion, yellow grape tomato and sweet chili sauce.

Labor Day

 

  Look at that … Labor Day is upon us already!! That means the summer
closeout Steak Out and Clam Bake is right around the corner (September 10th).We will be featuring Certified Angus Strip Steaks, Prince Edward Island Little Neck Clams, Full Deluxe Salad and Dessert Bars, as well as baked beans, corn on the
cob, salt potatoes, and much more.

Our featured burger this week is a Chicken Divine. This Broiled Chicken Breast topped with Canadian bacon, Broccoli spears and the finest extra sharp Wisconsin cheddar is served on grilled ciabatta roll with Dijon mayo for dipping!! MMM good…

August update

Wow August 20th is just around the corner…. And that brings our Grand Prime Rib and Seafood Buffet. If you haven’t made your reservation already, be sure to call soon, as seating for this event is limited!!
So is Summer for everyone flying by like it is for us here?! We are planning our first ever end of Summer Steak Out!! This event promises to be a great time. We will be offering a Certified Angus Beef Strip Steak; you pick the one you like, with a dozen of our fresh Prince Edward Island little neck clams, along with baked beans, salt potatoes, and corn on the cob, full deluxe salad bar, and dessert bar.
Let’s look at what this weeks burger brings… we will take a sea way voyage. Wrap your mouth around this blend of scallops, shrimp, and lobster seasoned with onion, garlic, and fresh dill, topped with Wisconsin Gruyere cheese… Mouthwateringly delicious!!!

Weekly Updates

Wow what a week!!  Man is it hot!! We invite you to stop in to beat the heat. Come in to enjoy our BBQ buffet. Featuring hickory smoked pork and beef ribs, fireman’s style bbq Chicken, our full deluxe salad bar and assorted desserts, Available Wednesday nights all summer long for only $12.95.

Introducing our new Clam bake and Steak out, coming Saturday September 10th 2011 featuring Certified Angus Strip Steak, the finest aqua culture Little Neck Clams, and all you can eat sides, as well as our full salad and dessert bars!! I will be grilling the steaks outside (weather permitting), and you can choose your own for me to cook.

Next week (7/25-7/29our burger feature will be “The Seattle”! One half pound of Certified Angus Ground round, sautéed onion Pinot Noir glazed portabellas, arugula, watercress and coffee spiked mayo!!                 Outstanding

July 2011 Updates

Hi folks!   Here we are in the middle of the summer season already and things are really heating up around here.  Our summertime BBQ Buffet Is back and better than ever. All the great BBQ items you enjoy: beef ribs, St. Louis pork ribs, chicken, homemade baked beans, sweet corn and garlic potatoes. However, we’ve added a full salad bar and dessert bar all for only $12.95, every Wednesday from 5 till 8pm!     We are adding daily luncheon specials featuring a new fresh “Angus Burger of the Week”. Keep checking back to see the details of each week’s burger.  Also, don’t forget our lunch soup and salad buffet every Wednesday and Thursday featuring our “Deluxe Soup and Salad Bar“, three soups, and a hot item for just $5.95.   On Friday’s we are offering a “Fresh Prime Haddock Filet of Fish” for just $8.95.  This fish is rare and special so get a taste before it’s gone.   Our famous Sunday Brunch is served 10am till 1pm and it features 12 hot items, 12 cold items, dessert table, omelet and waffle station WITH beverage for only $10.95.  We also have “Early Birds” on Sunday from 12pm till 4pm with 8 full dinners including our famous prime rib for only $10.95.    Be on the lookout for our already famous “Grand Seafood and Prime Rib buffet coming in August. Also, we will be throwing a fabulous end of summer party. The Pedro burger!…! The Pedro Burger features: Fresh Waygu ground chuck, grilled portabella mushroom, gruyere cheese topped with bistro sauce, lettuce, and onion on grilled Ciabatta bread.
