The past year has been one of challenge and devotion. Our staff stuck it out through challenging times to be able to serve you here at our historic restaurant today. We are all excited to be here and have renewed our vow to provide you with the best quality and service as we have for over 197 years.

Mother’s Day is of course a special time at the VI and we are having a special Mother’s Day Brunch from 9am-1pm featuring all our regular brunch items as well as a chef carved Gold Medal Ham with all the fixing for $21.95 and children under 10 are half price. Due to Covid space limitations we ask that you call early to reserve a spot at our table.

We will be serving a Mother’s Day Holiday ala care menu for dinner service from 1pm until 7pm. This menu will have all our most popular menu items including Prime Rib, assorted USDA Angus Select Steaks, Haddock, Lobster, Turkey and other items that we are sure you will enjoy. Again, due to space limitations we ask that you call and reserve early.

Father’s Day will be exactly the same as Mother’s Day with a special brunch at 10am-1pm and dinner service starting @ 1pm.

Our new banquet facility is open and can accommodate groups up to 250. We have complete wedding and banquet packages starting at $14.95 with no hidden fees. We are THE complete package with motel rooms, outside facilities and the oldest Cobblestone Church in North America. Please call and ask for Victoria or Samantha for a tour of our facility.

Optimism

We would like to thank you all for your support during this pandemic. With your support, we have survived the brutal business climate affecting the hospitality industry. We are open, financially secure and ready to welcome you back to our historic restaurant.

Easter will be celebrated on April 4th and we will be offering a “served” Easter Brunch starting at 9am and continuing to 1pm. This brunch will have all your favorites including Eggs Benedict, Chicken, Bacon, Sausage and many other hot and cold items. We will also be serving a Chef carved Gold Medal Ham along with a full salad bar, juice bar and dessert table. This brunch will be priced at $19.95 per person including coffee/tea. Children under 10 will be half price.

We will also be serving a sit-down ala carte dinner menu for Easter from 1pm till 7pm. We will be featuring a special menu of all the Village Inn specialties including our famous prime rib, seafood, turkey and other favorites. Reservations are suggested.

We will revert to our normal hours April 1st which will be Tuesday through Sunday 11:30am until 8pm. Our Sunday Brunch is still the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month and it remains served BUT we are hoping to bring it back EVERY Sunday soon. Also, we hope to bring back our Soup and Salad bar, Grand Prime Rib and Seafood Buffet and Holiday Buffets as soon as regulations allow.

Our Party/Wedding facility is up and running and we are taking bookings for events. As we seat over 250 in our facility, we are able at this time to book events up to 125 guests. We are confident that as the good weather arrives and Covid infections continue to decrease that we will be able to book our full capacity. We have buffets starting at $14.95 with great food and service served in a authentic historic barn venue from 1824. We have NO hidden costs and no up-charges. In addition, we have 8 beautiful motel rooms to accommodate out of town guests right on site. We have a gazebo and scenic Proctors Brook for memorable pictures and memories.

Rest assured that we follow and exceed all CDC guidelines for your safety. Thank you again for your support of our business and staff. New Realities…

New York State has reopened Tillman’s Village Inn and we are excited to be back in action. The State has published guidelines for our industry and we are taking every precaution on your behalf. We will be open for dine in on Saturday June 13th serving lunch and dinner from 11:30am until 9pm. Our new hours will be Tu-Wed-Thurs 11:30am until 8-8:30pm and Fri-Sat 11:30am until 9pm. On Sunday we will be serving Brunch from 10am until 1pm on the first and 3rd Sunday of the month only. We will serve lunch and dinner on Sunday from 12pm until 8pm. We will be closed Mondays to allow for extra cleaning and sanitation of our facility.

We will celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday November 26th from 12pm until 7pm. Unfortunately we will not be able to offer our famous buffet BUT we will be serving our Holiday Menu that features our fresh roasted turkey and all the fixings along with our famous prime rib and great desserts and pies. As we must social distance and limit our capacity, reservations are on a first come/first served basis.

We will be offering our famous Harvest Platter every Sunday in October from noon until gone. We welcome you to partake in this delicious medley of Turkey and Roast Pork with all the tastes of fall.

With the new reality of the Coronavirus we want you to know that we have taken steps that are far in excess of the CDC’s recommendations. We have increased sanitation of tables, chairs, condiments and menus. We have spaced out tables 6′ apart and have reduced occupancy. In the back of the house we wash every single piece of food preparation equipment in a hot sanitizing solution. In addition, all surfaces for food preparation are sanitized hourly. All silverware and dish service are sanitized per Health Department guidelines. Finally, door handles, soap dispensers, bathroom faucets, soda guns, beer taps and bar ware are sanitized daily and hourly. Our staff is checked before each shift with a self administered temperature scan and a heath questionnaire. All staff will be required to weak masks and be required to practice social distancing when possible. Rest easy knowing that Tillman’s Village Inn is taking every precaution possible to provide a safe, clean place to eat and be happy.

The Holidays

Our famous Thanksgiving Feast will be happening again on November 28th with Chef carved Prime Rib/Turkey/Ham, full salad bar, dessert table and all the fixings for only $24.95.  This event always sells out quickly so make your reservations soon.  We will also be featuring our complete menu for those who wish to ‘dine’ full service.

The holiday season is  upon us and here at the Village Inn,  soon we will be decorated in all our holiday finery. Look for our Grand Prime Rib and Seafood Buffet on Saturday December 21st. We feature this buffet but once every two months and it sells out quickly. This time around we will be featuring our mouthwatering prime rib and a plentiful and varied supply of fresh seafood (including crab, shrimp, scallops, clams…) a full salad and dessert table all for just $34.95. Call quickly for reservations (5pm-8pm) and bring your appetite.


New Years Eve is on TUESDAY this year and we WILL be open serving lunch AND dinner from 11:30 until 9pm with great food and specials to get you ready for the big nite.  On New Years Day we will be open @ noon for lunch and dinner.

Holiday Gift Certificates are available in any denomination and good for our lodging packages, lunch and dinner reservations and gift shop purchases. Purchase $100 in certificates and receive two free Sunday Brunch Passes.

We have finished our Party House Expansion Project which will allow us to accommodate gatherings of up to 250 guests for weddings, banquets and special events. No one does banquets better than us with complete dinner packages starting at $12.95 per person with no set-up, clean up or any hidden fees. With the addition of the Cobblestone Church, the Fair Haven Inn, and our new banquet facility we have a complete wedding package. See Mark or Victoria for details.

Don’t forget our Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday Lunch Buffet with 3 soups, freshly made salads, Mac n cheese or pasta for only $6.95. On Sundays, we feature our Early Bird menu with 8 entrees including our famous prime rib for just $12.95 from noon till 4pm.
